11. BONUS place: Albert park Lake

Albert Park is one of the most pleasant parks in Melbourne. Some would rather going there than to the Botanical Gardens, although the have different appeals. The Special side of Albert Park is holding the Formula1 circuit along the months of March in which (depending on the time of the year you go) you can see the set up organised to receive the pilots, the event and public. Its breathtaking and possible to eel the energy when riding along the lake. The lap is around 5.5km only with a limit of 40km/h to make sure rider’s don’t get carried away. Although the same track is not available I would say 90% of it is the same driven by the F1 cars. There are many different entrances and it’s easier to figure out depending on the location you’re coming from.

Depending on your experience and riding level, the route takes around 2 hours and 20 minutes. This is an estimation of Google maps for riding time only, besides time enjoying the spots stopped and the ride back.
